It also known as Bonaccolto Utility Forceps Cross-Serrated at Tips 1.2mm Jaw are a versatile, universally used instrument most often during ophthalmologic procedures such as for retinal detachment or where the conjunctiva needs to be held. Its principal use is to atraumatically hold and retract the conjunctiva and other delicate tissues of the eye.
Bonaccolto Conjunctival Forceps features a spring handle with outer transverse ridges. As a result, surgeons can close the jaws against each other with controlled pressure to minimize trauma.
