McGivney Hemorrhoid Ligator Complete with Loading Cone and 100 “O” Rings, It is an instrument used in one process for the removal of hemorrhoids. The McGivney ligator is used to place bands at the base of a hemorrhoid, thereby halting the blood flow, and causing the hemorrhoid to stop growing and fall off. The ligator is a double spring, plier handle instrument with a long shaft. The overall length is 6-1/2 inches.
